How the ceiling is built
The tool keeps a reserve first. Starter cards allow a smaller spend. Gold and Diamond allow more. Rainbow and Secret allow the largest share, still never the whole stack. Higher overalls nudge the ceiling up because they are likelier printers. None of this lets you bid 90 percent of cash. The official loser chair is what 90 percent looks like.
Type cash in the same units you think in: raw numbers are fine. The result is a suggested max and a reserve to protect. If rebirth is close, ignore a high suggestion and walk, which is the same advice as the rebirth guide.
Worked examples
You have 10 million. A base 78 overall appears. The calculator should keep most of that stack. Win cheap, park it, move. You have 10 million. A Gold 90 Messi appears and it beats your board. The calculator should allow a real bid and still leave sit-down money. You have 10 million. Rainbow Yamal appears and three people are already shouting. The calculator may allow a chunk. If the live total jumps past that chunk in two clicks, you are done. That is not cowardice. That is the tier list surviving contact with whales.

Set the numbers while the card is spinning onto the podium, not after you have already raised twice. On mobile, set them before you sit. After each win, update cash. After each loss, update cash. Stale cash is how people bid money they no longer have. Pair the habit with the walkthrough so the first hour is not a montage of empty pockets.
If you just redeemed the group reward or a future code from the codes desk, treat that cash as marked. It is not free. It is the reserve for the next three cheap chairs. The calculator will happily let you dump it into Gold if you type the new total without a plan. Subtract the reserve first. Then sit. That is the same policy as the early farm build, just with a number on screen.
Rainbow and Secret get a larger share because they are larger upgrades when they actually replace your best printer. They are not a license to go to zero. Count only the cash sitting on the HUD. Future purchases are not a bid reserve.
