How the ranks work
S-tier means the card jumps your collection by a league and is worth an aggressive but capped bid. A-tier is a strong printer you buy at a fair price. B-tier fills slots. C-tier is early fuel. D-tier is a skip unless it is nearly free. Bid pressure can demote a card in real time. Rainbow Yamal on official art is an S-face that becomes a D-purchase if the other chair is willing to print 67QT.

S tier: bid with a written ceiling
Secret frames, Rainbow faces with broken stats, and top overalls such as 103 CAM Messi belong here when they replace your current best printer. Official art treats these as spectacle: winner 67QT, loser 0.1B. You are trying not to be either cartoon. Set the ceiling in the bid calculator before the first click. If the other chair sprints, let them own the souvenir.

A tier: the real grind cards
High Gold and clean Diamond cards of elite names (Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Yamal, Mbappe) sit here when they are not yet Secret. They win you the midgame. They are also where most players overpay because the name is famous. If two A-tier cards appear back to back, win the cheaper one. The bidding guide calls this the two-chair rule: never empty the wallet because a second A might be 30 seconds away.
B, C, and D tier
B-tier is solid overalls without a special frame. Buy them to replace C-tier starters. C-tier is anything that prints enough to fund the next sit. D-tier is a low overall with no frame and a crowd already bidding. Skip. Saving for the rare card route beats winning a D-tier war.
Position on the card is flavour unless the studio later adds chemistry. Until that happens, a 90 ST and a 90 CAM with the same frame are close enough that price should decide, not formation cosplay. Check the items page if a future update adds slot bonuses by position.
